AHWA To Launch Midnight Echo Magazine

5th February 2008 (14:07)

The AHWA is pleased to announce the imminent birth of Midnight Echo – the Magazine of the Australian Horror Writers' Association. Midnight Echo aims to showcase the quality and diversity of the modern horror and dark fantasy genres. Particular emphasis will be placed upon Australian authors, but international voices will also be included.

Each issue of Midnight Echo will be overseen by a different editorial team who will bring their own unique perspective to the magazine. The first issue will be edited by Kirstyn McDermott and Ian Mond, current AHWA committee members who have both been involved in the dark fiction scene since the days of the original Australian Horror Society.

Midnight Echo will be published in electronic format as a PDF document. The first issue is scheduled for release on Halloween 2008.

Submission Guidelines are available at the Australian Horror Writers Association website www.australianhorror.com.
